Photographers and Ceremonies

As many of you may know from reading previous blogs and from within this site as well, I get to work with my wife Marti at Abba Photography quite often which is always a pleasure to work with the one that I love. I also get to work with many others and I am very happy to report that most photographers are professional and courteous to work with. Occasionally, you see Uncle Charlie and Joe Coworker offering their talent and love as a gift who are not as mindful of the enjoyment level of those who came to see the bride and groom exchange their vows publicly. They mean well but it is important that you choose someone based on their professionalism.

Orlando Sheraton North Wedding

Yesterday I performed the marriage ceremony of Dean and Katie at the Orlando Sheraton North hotel in Maitland, FL. DJ Carl provided the music and Mary Hayes Photography along with Dale captured the event in pictures and video. Congratulations to a wonderful couple.

Embassy Suites Altamonte Springs

Last weekend I had the pleasure of working with Jay Edwards, Scoobies Photographics and Seth Cohen at the ceremony for Mary and William at the Embassy Suites hotel in Altamonte Springs. Their ceremony took place at the gazebo with the bride making her grand entrance down the glass elevator. It was an honor to perform their ceremony and it was a beautiful day. Intimate and Historic Wedding Ceremony Site

I am pleased to announce that I am available to perform your wedding ceremony in one of the most intimate and moving locations in the Orlando area. The "Senator" is a 3500 year old tree by estimate with close to a 17 foot diameter trunk in the middle of Big Tree Park in Seminole County. The tree was dedicated by Calvin Coolidge in 1929 and still stands at 118 feet tall after a hurricane brought it down from its original 167 foot tall status during that year. There is ample parking, a public bathroom and a short nature walk on a boradwalk leading out to this magnificant tree and it's 2000 year old companion "Lady Liberty".
